Of all the things I make, I think that my homemade whipped cream is one of my family’s favorites.
Personally, I despise Cool Whip. I haven’t checked in awhile, but last I did – it contained partially hydrogenated oil. Trans fat. That stuff is so bad for you that I can’t believe it’s still allowed to be used.
Homemade whipped cream is simple and divine!
You’ll need an electric mixer – either handheld or stand alone, or you’ll whip until your arm falls off with a whisk.
Pour a pint of heavy cream into a bowl. Add 1/4 a cup of powdered sugar and 1/2 a teaspoon of vanilla extract.
Beat the cream until it forms stiff peaks.
Enjoy!
From my table to yours,

That’s an excellent question. I honestly don’t know. I’ve tried to make whipped cream using milk and it took twice as long and wasn’t nearly as good. You’ve presented me with a challenge and I shall endeavor to find out the answer for you!
